Niki Barachanou

Niki Barachanou is a doctoral researcher in Music Education at the University of Thessaly. Her research adopts a perspective informed by posthumanism and new materialism and focuses on the pedagogical dimensions of experimental musicians’ practice. She holds an MA in Social Anthropology and Anthropology of Music and has extensive experience as a piano teacher and as an improvisation and composition workshop leader in a variety of settings.
