Dimitra Pasiou is a PhD candidate of the Department of Early Childhood Education, Thessaly University with research field on Theatre in Prison. Graduate of School of Drama, AUTH (major in Acting). Graduate of PPS of School of Drama, AUTH (major in Drama and Performance Analysis). Graduate of the Department of Public Administration (major in Public Law). She has also studied acting in Centre of Drama Research, Thessaloniki and has participated in workshops of acting, physical theatre, Theatre of the Oppressed and playwriting. She trained as a trainer for adults (Centre for Education and Lifelong Learning, AUTH). She works in AUTH as administrative staff and in theatre as an actress and a theatre educator. As an actress, she has collaborated with several theatre groups in Thessaloniki. As theatre educator, has designed and animated workshops of “theatre play” in cultural associations and in parents-teachers associations of primary education. As a volunteer, has designed and animated theatre educational workshops, workshops of social theatre, performances and happenings and during the academic years of 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 designs and animates workshops of applied theatre at the Second Chance School in Penitentiary of Nigrita.
