Konstantinos Kerasovitis
Konstantinos Kerasovitis is a musicologist, music teacher and PhD candidate at the Department of Early Childhood, University of Thessaly. He has earned a Degree from the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University, and holds two MA Degrees: a) an integrated master on Musicology from the Ionian University, and b) an MA degree on Music Pedagogy from the University of Nicosia. He studied Music at the Greek Conservatory, Advanced Theory (degrees in Fugue, Counterpoint, and Harmony), and has a Piano and an Accordion Degree. He is also a graduate of the Department of Liberal Arts of the Hellenic Open University, “Studies on European Culture”. For the past years, he has taught Music in public and private schools. His research interests include teaching Music in primary and secondary education, and especially in Music Schools. He has published relevant articles in scientific journal and conference proceedings. He has also presented papers in Panhellenic conferences and has as a member of the organising and scientific committees of many conferences in Greece. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Ioannina Branch of the Global Organisation of Preschool Education and a member of the European Prison Education Association and its Hellenic Branch (EPEA and EPEA Hellas).
