Effrosyni Koutsogianni is a PhD candidate at the Department of Preschool Education of the University of Thessaly with the title of her doctoral thesis “The contribution of theater-pedagogical approaches to the empowerment of the homeless”. She is a graduate of the Department of Theater Studies of EKPA (2001) and the Pedagogical Department of Preschool Education of the University of Thessaly (2011, qualifying exams). During the academic year 1999-2000, as part of a student exchange through the Erasmus program, she completed her third year of undergraduate studies at the Department of Theater Studies and Art History of the University of Copenhagen. In 2022, she completed her postgraduate studies at the PMS “Organization and Administration of Education” of the Pedagogical Department of Elementary Education of the University of Thessaly. From 2002 until today, she has worked as an hourly employee (2002-2010) and as a substitute teacher of Theater Education (2010-2021) in schools of the A/thmia of the 1st District of Athens and the A/thmia of Education of the 1st District/ of the University of Magnesia respectively, while in the year 2020-2021 she worked as a substitute kindergarten teacher in the Primary Education of the First Directorate of Magnesia. From 2021 she is a newly appointed Theater Education teacher in Volos.
